Barbo… what?
Barbonesska is a word that wasn’t supposed to exist. It was born by accident while I was living in Venice. One day, I wanted to tell my friend that I felt like a barbona — messy, a little feral, but somehow, what came out was Barbonesska. I loved it. And it stayed with me.Somewhere in that accidental word, barbona met principessa — the princess: polished, elegant, perfectly composed. Two completely opposite energies that somehow belong together.Because no one is just one thing.
Sometimes we’re chaotic and beautifully undone.
Most of the time, we live somewhere in between.

It took a while
Moving back to Poland unexpectedly brought pole dancing into my life. It actually started on a video call with my cousin. I noticed a pole in the background at her place and immediately went, “Wait, show me something!” She did — and I fell in love with it almost instantly. I drew my first pole-inspired design over four years ago. It spent a long time waiting in a drawer, occasionally becoming a sticker, until I finally decided it deserved a little more life. Doing everything on my own — designing, making, organising, packing and figuring things out as I go — can be a lot. Somewhere in between, I still try to find time for exotic dance. It doesn’t always work out perfectly, but then again, no one is perfect. I’m enjoying the process, learning as I go. Everyone is welcome here. Be yourself, take up space, wear what feels like you, and leave the judgement at the door. Barbonesska is for zero fucking judgement! just self-expression, attitude, curiosity and a little chaos. And remember: my designs get better with you. Your energy, feedback and the way you make them your own are part of what keeps this world growing. And hopefully, one day, making Exo Kicia an international star :3333
